Woods walking is restorative, especially during this global pandemic. On walks, various animals and plants remind me of the shared life support system we all depend upon. Homeostasis is a function of all contributing. No one species is more important than another. I met the Red Efts most mornings. as I slowed my pace. The slowing down allowed me to more fully experience the power of nature to assist in helping balance myself. In gratitude, I do all I can to help preserve these small creatures as well as the nature we are all a part of and need.
