The Natural world provides anchor points into the very moment in which I am living. It is here I discover a new perspective in my art-making process.

Out of my head and into the moment, I awaken each time I pay attention to my natural surroundings. In these moments of pure awareness, unhampered by the never-ending thoughts the human mind naturally creates, a still place of magnanimity surfaces.

This moment of grace, unhampered by conditions, feels like an altar. How I arrive in this no-space place is a paradox. Trusting in this quiet process offers me creative direction and impulse.
